Short version: we hold what your club needs to run its teams, we use it only for that, and we never sell it.

Who we are
Stadly is club management for grassroots football clubs. It is run by Stadly Pty Ltd (ABN 36 703 674 926). This policy covers the Stadly app on the web, iPhone and Android, and the stadly.com.au website.
Your club decides who it adds to Stadly and what it records about them. We hold that information for the club and use it only to run Stadly for the club. If you have a question about what your club recorded, you can ask the club or us.
What we hold
- Your login: your name, email, mobile if you add one, and your password, stored scrambled so nobody can read it. When you sign in we note the time, your IP address and your browser or phone type, to keep your sign in safe.
- People at your club: names, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, which children each parent or guardian is linked to, and each person's teams and roles.
- Photos: player, coach and team photos the club, a guardian or the player adds.
- Football: who is in or out for each session and match, who attended, duties, match notes, goals, positions, preferred foot, captains, and the ratings a coach gives a player.
- Enquiries: when a family asks to join a club, the parent's name, email and phone, the child's name and date of birth, and their message.
- Notifications: the notices we send you, which ones you have read, your notification settings, and a code for each phone so we can send it a push notification.
- Early access: if you apply for early access, your name, email, your club's name, your role there, and what you told us. We also note how you found us: the tags in the link you followed, the page you came from and the page you landed on.
Children
Most players are children, so we keep their side of Stadly small.
- A child under 13 has no login. Their parent or guardian uses Stadly for them.
- A 13 or 14 year old can sign in only after a parent or guardian approves it. We record who approved it.
- There is no messaging in Stadly. A child can only get notifications, such as a session change, and say whether they are in or out.
- A child's date of birth can only be changed by the club or a guardian, and it is never shown publicly.
How we use it
- To run your club in Stadly: teams, sessions, matches, duties and enquiries.
- To send you notices about your teams, by push notification and email.
- To keep your sign in safe and find problems.
- To reply to early access applications.
We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we share it only with the services listed below.
Who sees it
People at your club see only what their role needs. A coach sees their own teams. A parent sees their own children. Stadly staff look at a club's information only to help that club or fix a problem.
If your club has a Stadly website, it shows names, roles, teams and approved photos. It never shows a date of birth, a contact detail, a family link or a player's status.
Services we use
These companies help us run Stadly. Each one gets only what its job needs.
- Neon stores our database.
- Cloudflare runs the app and stores photos.
- Resend sends our email.
- Google Firebase delivers push notifications to phones.
- Google Analytics counts visits to our pages. It gets the page address, which can include your club's short name, and your browser type. It never gets your name or email.
We store our database and photos in Australia. Email, push notifications and analytics pass through services in the United States.
Keeping it safe
Information travels between your device and Stadly encrypted. Every request is checked against what your role allows. If a data breach could seriously harm you, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the law requires.
How long we keep it
You can delete your login at any time from Your details in the app. That removes your login, your sign ins and your phones straight away. Your club's records about you, such as your teams and attendance, stay with the club. Ask the club, or us, to remove those. Notifications expire once the thing they are about has passed. When a club leaves Stadly, we delete its records straight away. Deletion can take up to a day to finish.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can see and change your own details in the app. A parent or guardian can do the same for their child. To get a copy of everything we hold about you, or to fix something you cannot change yourself, email us.
Questions and complaints
Email hello@stadly.com.au. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your information, we will tell you in the app first. Using Stadly is also covered by our terms.
